Choose a lesson schedule that fits your life
Most students have one 60-minute lesson a week, and we can increase this to as many as five lessons a week as the final exams approach. All lessons take place live on Google Meet, so they fit easily around work, other resits or a gap year.
Practise with expert feedback
Every lesson runs from a shared Google Doc containing questions, case studies and exam-style tasks. Your work is marked in front of you, feedback is given verbally, and every improvement is highlighted in a different colour, so you can see how each answer develops from first attempt to top-grade response. The document stays with you and builds into a complete revision resource.

Between lessons, homework usually involves preparing for the next lesson or completing practice questions. Week by week, your answers become sharper and your recall more reliable, helping students prepare to sit the exams knowing they’re ready.
Planning Your A-Level Resits
Registering as a private candidate
Once you’ve left school, you’ll usually need to register as a private candidate. That means entering through an exam centre, which could be your old school or college or a private exam centre, before the entry deadline, which usually falls early in the year. Your exam centre will confirm your entries and your personal exam timetable, so it’s worth contacting centres as soon as you decide to retake.
When the exams take place
For most exam boards, A-Level exams take place in May and June, and results will be released on A-Level results day in August. That means the time between one results day and the next summer series is your window to prepare, and starting early makes a real difference.
What a resit means for university admissions
Retaking the exam is common, and resitting your A-Levels won’t close doors: many universities in the UK accept retake grades. Depending on the timing, your original and resit grades may both appear on your UCAS application, so it’s worth checking each course’s policy before you apply. The cost of resitting varies between exam centres, so it’s also worth comparing fees early.
