In your first lesson, your tutor reviews the content you’re currently studying and the content you’ve missed at this stage of the year, along with your notes, recent work and exam papers, to identify exactly where the gaps are. We then plan the order in which to cover the missed topics, prioritising anything that later topics depend on.
Choose lesson times that suit you
Most students have one 60-minute lesson a week, but when there’s a lot to catch up on we can increase this to as many as five lessons a week. We offer after-school, evening and school holidays sessions, so lessons fit around your timetable, training or recovery.
Learn in a live online classroom
All lessons take place live on Google Meet, giving you a secure online space to learn from home, a hotel room during a competition, or wherever you are across the UK. Every lesson runs from a shared Google Doc containing teaching content, questions, case studies and exam questions, so you build a complete set of notes for everything you missed.
Practise with clear feedback
Your tutor marks your work in front of you, feedback is given verbally, and every improvement is highlighted in a different colour, so you can see how your answers are developing and your tutor can check the gaps are truly closed.
Keep up once you’ve caught up
Once the missed content is covered, many students continue with regular lessons with the same tutor to stay on top of new topics and prepare for exams, and we support students with homework and assignments too.
