1What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They help a site work, remember your choices and, in some cases, show you relevant adverts. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, and we refer to all of them as “cookies” in this policy.

This policy applies to business-tutor.co.uk and aibusinesstutor.co.uk, which are run by Business Tutor Ltd (company number 14822407), 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2How we use cookies

We use four kinds of cookies, and only the first is set without asking you:

Always onEssential

Make our sites work and keep them secure, for example remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in to AI Business Tutor, protecting against spam and attacks, and taking payments. You cannot switch these off in our banner.

Your choiceFunctional

Remember choices you make, if you make any, to give you a better experience.

Only if you agreeMarketing

Used by Google Ads and Google AdSense to show relevant adverts and measure how well they work. We set them only if you agree.

Only if you agreeThird-party content

Set by services we embed, such as YouTube videos and Google reviews. We load them only if you agree.

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks for your consent for everything except essential cookies. You can say yes or no, and no is as easy as yes.

3Cookies we use

The table lists the main cookies and their typical lifetimes. Exact names and lifetimes can change when a provider updates its service.

4Analytics

We measure how our sites are used with Fathom Analytics. Fathom does not use cookies and does not collect personal data about individual visitors, so it does not appear in the table above and does not need a cookie choice from you.

5Managing your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings on our website. If you withdraw consent, we stop using those cookies, and you may need to clear cookies already on your device.

You can also control cookies in your browser settings, where you can block or delete them. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of our sites, such as signing in or checkout, from working. To manage personalised adverts from Google, visit adssettings.google.com.

6Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by other companies when our pages load their services. We do not control them, and each company explains how it uses them:

7Children, changes and contact

Many of our students are under 18. We ask them to make cookie choices with a parent or guardian, and we only set marketing cookies if consent is given in the banner.

We may update this policy when our cookies or the law change, and we will revise the date below.
